Swimsuit Waves
Add to wishlistA small work of art hidden in a one-piece swimsuit. The patterns on the costume were inspired by the art of tattooing.
Arranged in a cascade, delicate mandalas on the front create a composition resembling the structure of lace. Whereas, rough waves on the sides (style taken from a Japanese tattoo), growing from the hips to the top of the swimsuit, add a claw to the whole. The pattern reminiscent of the ocean and the corresponding colours also have a practical function - they shape the silhouette. The design of the model is guided by the same goal: a combination of built-up hips with an exposed back.
Both the print and construction design reflect the complex and ambiguous nature of women.
So the whole thing forms an original story… about you?
The author of the project is Adria Talaśka, who runs her own tattoo studio "A Mama Wie?" (“And mummy knows?”) in Gdynia.
Distinctive marks - apart from those visible in the photos:
- double layer of material
- adjustable shoulder straps
- comfortableness and universality.
Knitted fabric features:
- breathable composition: 88% recycled polyester, 12% elastane
- has a GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certificate
- quick drying
- resistant to UV radiation.
The costume has its twin version in black - under the name Simple as That.
