A couple of weeks ago we just finished loading the car with Second You clothing in order to head off to the London Balance Festival the next morning. Now, weeks later, we’re very excited to share our experiences from the trip & observations on the English fitness community.

The festival amazed us with its variety of opportunities – starting with sports and culinary, and finishing with business and beauty. You could join one of the flagship workouts runs by the most popular London gyms, including Barry’s Bootcamp, Boom Cycle and Another_Space. There
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the biggest attractions were… the culinary stands! Let me explain! I don’t mean there was a high turnout at Live Cooking Theather, where – above others – Deliciously Ella was cooking her top dishes. What I was referring to, are food “booths”, sampling and selling energy bars, protein shakes and vegan snacks. Not that we don’t understand the hype – as vegetarians who work out, we were also looking for new food brands and inspiring cooking ideas.
What was the most shocking? The popularity of the standard fitness look – black leggings paired with a black top and a ponytail. No wonder why our Kamala & Snake leggings paired with Symmetric & Trinity tops turned out to be the Second You bestsellers. Considering the craziness of a London street fashion show, we were expecting the same color party in the gym! Nevertheless, Second You patterns received a lot of
London Balance Festival was another small step that we took to make our brand more global. To be honest, this time we felt a little bit like newbies, but hey – the first pancake is always spoiled ;) We began new relationships and have a lot of great memories.
